Susan Farmer, RN, LMT

Helping people is a passion, as well as a calling, for Susan.

Having experienced first-hand the effectiveness of natural treatment when dealing with a slipped disc and sciatica, she dedicated herself to a holistic approach to healing. In 2001, Susan became a Certified Massage Therapist. She later became a Reiki practitioner. After many years of assisting others through their challenges, she proceeded to acquire additional and philosophically different training. In the true spirit of holism and commitment to her clients, she returned to school and now also has the benefit of western medical knowledge of the body as a Registered Nurse. Susan believes that the incorporation of both allows her to provide a truly holistic approach to wellness.

A native of Lynchburg, she and her husband, Matthew, live in Grit and attend Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church where they were married 10 years ago.

Susan has a strong faith in God and recognizes her role in His Plan: "I am not the healer. The Lord works through me to help people."
